Confirmed
The kind of one-year eruption that makes scouts recheck their spring notes. Wein played a single game in 2024, then broke out as Oklahoma's most productive pass-rusher in 2025 — 7 sacks, 39 tackles and a forced fumble across 12 SEC games at 6-4, 266 — and enters 2026 as the established end and self-styled 'unc' of the defensive line room. The late-bloomer path (three-star, No. 609 nationally) fits a physical-development story rather than a fluke: the frame filled out and the production arrived together. However, seven sacks in one season is the entire college resume, and boards will want the rush production repeated before treating him as more than a riser — the ceiling grade here (9.3) is doing a lot of believing. SI lists him among OU's likeliest 2027 jumps. Day 2 grade at the bottom of the band; a second seven-sack season moves him up a full round.
