The short version: we store almost nothing, we track almost nothing, and you can leave any time.
You can use all of ScoutSZN without an account. We don't set tracking cookies, we don't run third-party analytics or ad scripts, and we don't store your IP address. We count page views with our own anonymous daily tallies — the counter can't recognize you from one day to the next, and none of it is shared with anyone.
We store exactly what you give us: an email address, a username, and your password — the password only as a one-way cryptographic hash, which means we can't read it and neither can anyone else. Your My Board picks, published boards, and saved mock drafts are stored with your account so they're there when you come back. A session cookie keeps you signed in; that's the only cookie an account adds.
We don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone. We don't send marketing email. We don't use your email for anything except account matters you'd expect (like helping you back into a locked account).
Email info@scoutszn.com from the address on your account and we'll delete it — the account, the board, everything tied to it.
Player information on ScoutSZN (rosters, statistics, recruiting history, news, representation) is compiled from publicly available sources and presented as sports journalism and commentary. The grades are one scout's opinion — see the disclaimer. If you're a player, a family member, or a representative and something about you is wrong or you want it reviewed, email info@scoutszn.com and it will be handled quickly.
If this policy ever changes in a way that matters, the date below will change with it.
