Scouting Verdict
A big-framed outside receiver at 6-2, 211 who backed up a promising freshman year with a genuine WR1 season: 54 catches for 834 yards at 15.4 a pop and seven scores while leading a loaded Texas passing game. The yards-per-catch tells the story of what he is, a downfield wideout who wins with size and long speed and turns intermediate targets into chunk plays rather than living underneath. The 2027 draft treatment is already ascending, with one outlet placing him inside its top 32. However, the sample is what tempers it: two seasons of real production, and even the 834-yard year came in a room deep enough that his role can shrink when the ball gets spread. I want to see him carry a target share as the clear No. 1 rather than the beneficiary of defenses tilting elsewhere. The physical profile is a first-round outline; the résumé needs one more alpha season to fill it in. Grade it as a rising boundary receiver whose ceiling is the draw and whose volume is the swing.
