Scouting Verdict
Two-year SEC starting safety before most recruits crack a two-deep. Harris walked into Auburn's lineup as a true freshman, made PFF's All-Freshman team on 44 tackles, then backed it up with 50 more and his first interception in 2025. Early-entrenched defenders like this usually age into draft picks, Draft Scout already has him on an early watchlist, and the down-to-down tackling consistency is real for a 6-1, 201-pound safety who says he still has 'stuff to prove.' However, the ball production has not arrived: one interception and four passes defensed across two full seasons is thin for a player with deep-third responsibilities, and safeties without takeaway numbers get graded as box helpers no matter how reliably they tackle. He is not draft-eligible until 2028 at the earliest, so the runway is long. Day 3-caliber grade on the current tape, with a ceiling band that belongs to a two-year starter this young.
