Scouting Verdict
Freshman-year returns — 753 yards at 5.4 a carry with six scores — made Durham look like LSU's next drafted back; the sophomore season walked it back to 505 yards at 4.6, three touchdowns and a December portal entry before Lane Kiffin's staff pulled him home. The two-year body of work still holds real value: 1,258 rushing yards, 44 receptions, Duncanville pedigree as the No. 88 recruit in his class, and three-down usage at 5-9, 200 with the compact build the position rewards. However, the arrow is pointing sideways at the exact moment it needed to point up — the efficiency, the touchdown rate and the carry share all declined, and Harlem Berry is coming for the backfield split. He has to re-establish the freshman version against a loaded room. Fringe-draftable projection in the 2028 class; the 2024 tape is his proof it's in there.
