Scouting Verdict
A slot-sized playmaker who did the loudest thing a receiver can do, lead FBS in receiving yards at San Jose State, and now brings that production to Colorado as the projected WR1. The tape is quick-twitch and separation-first, a shifty inside receiver who wins on option routes and turns manufactured touches into yards. However, the caveats are baked into the frame and the setting: at 5-9, 175 he's a pure slot at the next level, and the monster yardage came in a system built to feed him, so the question is how the production travels against Big 12 defenses that can bracket him. I want to see him win outside the scheme's design and hold up against physical coverage. The floor is a productive college WR1; the pro projection is a draftable-to-Day-3 slot whose separation quickness is real but whose size and system need vetting. Grade it as a proven volume producer with legitimate slot traits and legitimate size questions.
