The tallest proven passer in the sport, and one of the youngest. Bailey started for NC State as a true freshman, then jumped to 273-of-397 (68.8 percent) for 3,105 yards and 25 touchdowns in 2025 — four points of accuracy growth while the volume rose. Completion efficiency at 6-6 is the selling point; passers with that much frame rarely throw it that cleanly this early, and his 42 touchdowns over two seasons came with real ACC defenses in his lap. However, the turnovers cluster where it hurts — five of his nine 2025 interceptions came against ranked opponents — and 213 pounds on a 6-6 skeleton needs another year in the weight room. Draft coverage is still conditional ('if he takes a leap'), pointing to the 2028 class rather than early entry. Day 2 grade on the tape now, with a first-round ceiling if the ranked-game performances catch up to the season line.
