Scouting Verdict
The engine of the Ole Miss offense and one of the most productive backs in the country: 306 carries for 1,567 yards and 24 rushing touchdowns after arriving from Missouri as a spot player. The workhorse profile is unmistakable, a between-the-tackles runner with the contact balance to stay upright through arm tackles and a nose for the goal line that made him the SEC's scoring-run leader. He also chipped in 29 catches, so the three-down case is there. Multiple 2027 mocks have him in Round 1 and SI called him the Rebels' most likely first-rounder. However, two things keep the grade honest: the position itself, where NFL draft capital runs cheap, and that 306-carry season, a workload that can bank tread before he ever turns pro. I want to see the burst survive the mileage. Even so, this is bell-cow tape, and the finishing at the goal line is a real NFL trait. Grade it as a Day 2 back with a legitimate Round 1 ceiling that RB economics, not talent, will decide.
