Carries preseason second-team All-Sun Belt recognition from three separate outlets, but the recorded production is 40 catches for 339 yards and one touchdown — 8.5 yards a catch, with four starts in 12 games (career: 50-472-3). The honors project the opportunity created by South Alabama's top three receivers leaving rather than reward output, and he missed all of spring with a broken hand. A Sun Belt WR1 ranking placed him fifth of 14 — mid-league, not a star.
