Scouting Notes

The medicals are the evaluation. On the field, Wesco is a legitimate field-stretcher — 17.3 yards per catch in back-to-back seasons, six touchdowns in just seven 2025 games before a spinal/neck injury requiring surgery ended his year. The vertical juice is not in question: he stacks corners, wins over the top, and out-averaged every starter-level receiver on Clemson's roster. He has since announced he is medically cleared for the fall, which is the single most important line in this file. However, a 190-pound frame plus a surgically repaired neck is the combination that will lead every NFL medical review no matter what the 2026 tape shows, and this grade carries a deliberately wide band because of it. Day 3 by the current number, with genuine boom scenarios if he returns at full speed — the pre-injury trajectory was pointing several rounds higher.
