Scouting Notes

Long, physical edge-setter with the frame and length teams covet on the outside and enough power to collapse the pocket's edge. Uiagalelei broke through in 2024 with 10.5 sacks and two forced fumbles, then followed with a six-sack, three-breakup 2025 while holding up against the run at 6-5, 272. He turned down the draft to return, betting on a cleaner finishing year. However, the year-over-year dip in sack output is the number to sit with — the pressures still come, but the closing plays thinned, and that separates a locked first-rounder from a late-first/early-Day-2 range. The bend and hand length are real; the ask for 2026 is converting hurries into takedowns. Mocks have ranged from the mid-first to the back end of the round, and a return to double-digit sacks would settle him firmly in Round 1.
