Scouting Notes

Bell-cow build with bell-cow receipts. At 6-1, 228, Baugh has carried Florida's offense for two seasons — 673 yards as a freshman, then 220 carries for 1,170 yards and 8 scores in 2025 with 33 catches layered on top, all of it against SEC fronts. The workload tolerance is proven, the third-down role is real, and Brugler's early 2027 mock already slots him at pick 22 as RB1. The pause: 5.3 per carry is efficient rather than explosive, and 8 touchdowns on 220 attempts is light for a back with his mass — the finishing burst is the number to watch, because size-speed backs who go early score more on that volume. This grade holds him at the very top of Day 2 in the 2027 class until the big-play column matches the mocks; if 2026 adds breakaway runs, he is the first back called.
