Scouting Notes

An elite five-star tackle (No. 5 overall, OT1 in his class) already handed the LT1 job as a sophomore, with the highest ceiling on this roster. The evaluation here is pedigree and projection, not a body of production: Fasusi drew freshman All-America-level attention for his 2025 pass protection and lands as high as the No. 2 overall pick in NMDD 2028 mocks, but the college tape is still short, so this grade leans on traits and trajectory more than a résumé. The frame, foot quickness and pass-set fluidity are the reasons evaluators bet this high on a young tackle. The honest caveat is exactly that youth: even a blue-chip left tackle has to prove it across a full slate of SEC edges before the ceiling becomes the grade. As a true sophomore he is a clear three-and-out for 2028. Projects as a potential top-of-the-first-round tackle whose current grade is deliberately measured against limited starting tape.
