Scouting Notes

Slow-cooked edge rusher who finally boiled over. Jackson spent three seasons as a rotational piece at Ohio State — 3 total sacks from 2022-24 — then broke through with 6.5 sacks and 28 tackles in 2025 while still splitting snaps in a loaded room, and came back for a fifth year specifically to cash in on it. At 6-6, 265 he fits the outline the league orders at the position, and the high school file (18 sacks as a junior at Chaminade-Madonna) says the rush production is not a fluke of scheme. However, the sample of high-level production is exactly one season, achieved in a part-time role — he has never carried a full every-down workload, and 2026 has to prove the sack rate scales with the snaps. Day 2 in the 2027 class, with room to climb if the full-time version matches the flashes.
