Scouting Verdict
Downhill strong safety who grew into the role in 2025, jumping from 15 tackles to 53 as he took over a bigger share of Ohio State's back end. He plays a physical brand of safety in the box, triggers hard on the run and fits with pop, and the coaching staff leaned on him as a vocal leader in year two as a starter. However, the ball production hasn't shown up yet — zero interceptions and three breakups over two seasons means the coverage impact is projection, not tape, and the safety position carries a built-in draft discount that caps the ceiling until the takeaways arrive. National boards have him in the Day 2-3 range for whenever he declares, with a strong 2026 the thing that would tip him early. A rising, physical starter with real run-support value; the interceptions are the number that would move him up.
