Scouting Verdict
Late bloomer whose fourth year on campus was his first real one — after totaling eight catches across 2023 and an injury-wrecked two-game 2024, Hasley erupted for 40 receptions, 454 yards and six touchdowns as Duke's every-down tight end and the security blanket of its passing game. At 6-3, 245 he is built more like a move tight end than an inline mauler, and the receiving profile is what earned him 2027 summer scouting attention. The single-season jump from afterthought to featured target says the skill was waiting on opportunity, not development. However, one productive year from a fifth-year-track player is the thinnest kind of résumé, and 11.4 a catch at his size means he wins on reliability rather than mismatch — a hard sell at a position the league already discounts. Duke needs him to repeat it with a new quarterback throwing his way. Fringe-draftable for 2027; a second 40-catch season and a strong pre-draft spring make him a late-round flier, otherwise the path is priority free agency.
