Scouting Notes

A three-year starting left tackle and the top pro prospect on Virginia's roster, with enough mid-round 2027 buzz across draft boards to warrant real attention. The staying power is the selling point, a durable, experienced blindside protector who has logged the reps and earned an ACC Kickoff nod as a program face. However, the projection lands at Day 3 for concrete reasons: some evaluators see a guard once he reaches the next level rather than a tackle, and the pressure lapses on tape are real enough that the kick-slide against NFL speed is a live question. I want to see cleaner pass sets against the better edge rushers on the schedule before the tackle projection sticks. The floor is a draftable interior lineman with starting experience; the ceiling depends on whether he answers the position questions. Grade it as a proven college left tackle whose NFL home, and value, is still being sorted.
