At 6-6, 325, Heard is a people-mover in the run game — the size and strength profile drew ESPN's early 2027 watch list and a top-25 slot on On3's class rankings — and Kentucky imported him from Tennessee specifically to anchor a rebuilt line. The concern writes itself: three programs in four years without a full accolade season means the evaluation still runs on traits and flashes, and pass-protection consistency is the specific thing that has to firm up before first-round talk gets real. A minor spring procedure adds a small availability note. If he strings together a full year of clean SEC pass-pro tape at Kentucky, the pedigree and frame carry Day 2 capital in the 2027 class — the physical tools have never once been the question.
