Scouting Notes

Nineteen mock drafts and a Round 1-to-Round 4 spread — Prongos is the rare prospect whose disagreement is the headline. The 6-7, 315-pound UCLA transfer is a proven multi-year Power-4 starter and Stanford's only representative on the consensus big board, with ESPN's Jordan Reid ranking him as high as OT5 in the 2027 class while the aggregate settles closer to Round 4. Late-first-round outliers exist (Bleacher Report and PFN both slotted him in the 20s), and the return of a legitimate NFL-frame tackle transformed Stanford's line outlook. However, trust the middle of that range, not the top: he was unranked coming out of high school, the competition context is ACC-tempered, and boards this scattered usually mean the flashes outnumber the consistency. A dominant senior year collapses the spread upward. Day 3 projection in the 2027 class, with the length and starting pedigree that keep offensive line rooms interested well past the tape's rough edges.
