Scouting Verdict
Blue-chip lineman making the classic Texas move: five-star tackle (No. 32 overall, No. 2 at the position) sliding inside to right guard to get the best five on the field and put the muscle back in the Longhorns' run game. The pedigree is real, the program's trust is obvious, and the 2027 boards have sprinted ahead of both — first-two-rounds placements are already circulating. That's the number I don't fully trust. There is no starting production on this ledger yet; the boards are still grading the recruit, and tackle-to-guard conversions get validated or exposed quickly against SEC interior rushers. What I want to see is boring: 13 starts, a clean bill against the A&M and Georgia fronts, a Texas run game that averages what it thinks it should. Graded on the Day 3 track until the starts exist — a season that matches the pedigree moves him two rounds in a hurry.

Unproven — wide downside if it doesn't translate · returning-starter role secures it; downside −0.8.
