Scouting Notes

Karns High folk hero turned SEC feature back — Bishop has never averaged under 5.9 a carry at Tennessee, and his first real workload became a 182-carry, 1,076-yard, 16-touchdown 2025. The touchdown column is the separator: 16 scores on 182 attempts says he finishes what the line starts, and the 2024 sample (6.1 per carry in a rotation) shows the efficiency was never volume-dependent. However, the receiving resume is 16 career catches, and a 5-10, 210-pound back without a proven third-down role is fighting for the cheapest real estate in the draft. The 2027 services that list him sit in the Round 4-5-at-best range, and this grade lands a notch under that — a legitimate 1,000-yard SEC producer on a priority-free-agent-to-late-Day-3 track. The 2026 checkpoint is simple: catch 30 balls and the conversation changes.
