Scouting Notes

The highest-graded incoming transfer in this room and for good reason: a blue-chip four-star with three years of SEC starting tape at Auburn, 17 career pass breakups and three interceptions from the boundary. The cover profile is what travels, a sticky corner who mirrors well and stays connected through the route stem, now bringing that experience to a Tennessee secondary that badly needed it. However, the ball production has trended the wrong way, from seven PBUs in 2024 to four in 2025 with the interception count staying modest, and I want to see the disruptive plays climb back up rather than settle. Proven three-year SEC starters at corner don't grow on trees, and the draft attention is earned, but this is a Day 3 profile that needs a takeaway season to push higher. Grade it as a plug-and-play SEC boundary starter whose ceiling depends on the ball skills reasserting themselves.
