Scouting Verdict

Well-traveled possession receiver on his third program, arriving at Alabama with a WR1 label his production has never quite matched. Rogers was steady at NC State — 35 catches for 478 yards, then 33 for 441, better than 13 a catch in both seasons — but three touchdowns in two full ACC years is thin for a former No. 54 overall recruit, and he has never cracked 500 yards. The per-catch average hints at more downfield ability than the counting stats show, and Alabama clearly bought the pedigree. However, the immediate problem is availability: a spring A-Day injury will cost him the start of the 2026 season, exactly the runway a fringe senior cannot spare, and he will re-enter a receiver room that spent a month or more moving on without him. Priority-free-agent path — a healthy return and the first 500-yard season of his career would restart the conversation, in that order.
