Scouting Notes

Vertical field-stretcher who plays faster than his frame suggests and has quietly banked three productive seasons at Kansas State before this SEC jump. Brown broke out for 823 yards at 17.5 a catch in 2024 and followed with 712 in a nine-game 2025 (17.4 average), a consistent big-play profile built on tracking the deep ball. He steps into a feature role at LSU as a proven Power-conference WR1 candidate. However, at 5-11, 175 the slight build and questions about winning through contact against SEC corners are the honest tension, and the projection needs the yards-per-catch to hold up against tougher coverage. The number to watch is target volume and downfield production in a new offense. An honest, productive veteran; the grade carries real Day 3 draft interest if he repeats the vertical output in the SEC.
