Scouting Notes

Downhill safety production machine who started three straight years for Boise State and got better every season — 46 tackles, then 82, then 105 in 2025, with five career interceptions and a 6-3, 208-pound frame that fits the modern do-everything safety mold. He arrives at LSU as the portal's headline safety, early 2027 mocks have already floated his name in Round 1, and the staff calls the talent 'ultra elite.' The trajectory is the sell: nobody on this roster climbed faster from three-star afterthought (No. 982 nationally) to draft-board name. However, every snap of that résumé came against Mountain West offenses, and tackle volume in that league doesn't automatically convert — the SEC will test his angles and coverage range against a different class of athlete. Day 2 grade on the proven production; the Round 1 buzz gets validated or punctured within LSU's first month of conference play.
