Scouting Notes

A walk-on two-sport athlete who climbed to the top of Notre Dame's receiver depth chart is the kind of origin story scouts enjoy but don't pay for — what they will pay for is the production curve: 322 yards on just 19 catches as a freshman, then 30 grabs, then a team-leading 49 catches for 640 yards and four scores in 2025. Three straight years of rising usage at a College Football Playoff program is a real résumé, and the lacrosse All-America athleticism shows in his body control and open-field elusiveness. However, at 5-11, 185 with no recruiting pedigree and no elite timed speed on file, the measurables conversation will be unforgiving, and he has never truly dominated targets. Priority-free-agent path on this grade — the realistic comp class is productive college receivers who stick on NFL rosters through slot reliability and special teams, and his athletic background fits that route well.
