Scouting Notes

A downhill MIKE who fills fast, tackles through contact and has anchored the middle of a top defense for two years. Bowen stacked a 78-tackle, three-forced-fumble 2024 with a 67-tackle, 3.5-sack 2025, and the three-level tackle volume plus the ball-dislodging habit are the traits that keep a linebacker on the field; he is a genuine every-down starter with a former top-100 recruiting billing. The measured grade reflects the athletic profile: he wins with instincts and physicality more than rare range, and the coverage sample is thinner than the run production, so the question is whether he can carry backs and tight ends in space at the next level. He returned to lead the 2026 defense after working back from injury. Projects as a Day 3-caliber linebacker whose production, availability and premium-position starts give him a real draftable case if the coverage reps expand.
