Scouting Notes

One of the more interesting positional puzzles in the pipeline: a 6-5, 304-pound former tackle who moved inside to guard at Notre Dame and immediately became the leader of the line, by every account thriving in the transition. Offensive linemen leave no box stats, so this grade is built on role and trajectory, and both are strong — the veteran voice of a playoff-caliber front as a junior, with appearances on some 2027 tackle lists (NFL Draft Buzz has floated Rounds 1-2) even as most evaluators park him in the 2028 class. However, the position question IS the evaluation: if the arm length and foot quickness read guard-only, the ceiling compresses; if he can swing back outside, the math changes entirely. Late-round track by this grade today, with one of the widest ceilings on the board — a full year of guard tape decides which player he is.
