Scouting Notes

Long-limbed boundary corner built the way the league keeps trying to draft them. At 6-2 with a two-year starting resume, Hill has stacked 13 pass breakups across 2024-25 for Michigan defenses that ask their corners to live on an island, and his decision to return gives a thinned-out secondary its anchor. The Kankakee tape shows real ball skills — 7 interceptions as a high school junior — and the frame-plus-experience combination is why he shows up everywhere from Bleacher Report's top 60 to first-round 2027 mocks. However, the college takeaway column has not caught up: two interceptions across two starting seasons, and 13 breakups with that few finishes is the number this grade does not fully trust. Day 2 in the 2027 class on the profile, with the fringe-first-round talk becoming real only when the hands start ending possessions.
