Scouting Verdict
Pedigree safety still chasing his first complete season. Branch was the No. 58 overall recruit out of Bishop Gorman, but injuries held him to eight and six games at USC, and his 2025 Georgia season was eight more — 27 tackles in a rotational two-deep role. The traits case (6-2, 210, blue-chip pedigree, a high school resume with genuine ball production) has simply never gotten a full runway, and Georgia's staff kept him in the rotation for a reason. However, the college ledger is honest and it stings: 68 tackles and zero interceptions across three seasons is backup output, and nothing on the college side suggests the takeaway instincts from Gorman survived the injuries. Fringe, priority-free-agent path — a healthy, full-time senior season in Georgia's secondary is the only version of this profile that produces a draftable resume, and even that one probably runs through special teams first.
