Scouting Notes

Georgia handed him the keys in 2025 and he drove it to the Playoff: 2,894 yards, 24 touchdowns against five interceptions, a 69.7 completion percentage, and 129 carries of hard-nosed run value across 14 games. The ball security is elite-level real — a 24-to-5 ratio in the SEC through a full postseason run — and the toughness and three-years-in-the-building pedigree check every intangible box. However, the volume-efficiency split tells on the role: roughly 7.5 yards per attempt on 386 throws reads point-guard quarterback, an offense asking him to distribute and protect rather than attack downfield, and the league will want proof he can be the reason Georgia wins a shootout, not just the reason it doesn't lose one. Day 3 grade in the 2027 class at a premium position — mobile, secure, playoff-proven — and one throw-first statement game against a top defense would do more for his stock than three more clean 220-yard wins.
