Scouting Verdict
Big-play efficiency has never been the problem — 15.3 to 20.0 yards per catch in every season of his career — the volume has. Humphreys broke in at Vanderbilt with 22 catches for 439 yards and four scores as a freshman, moved to Georgia, and settled into a trusted rotational role: 244 then 276 receiving yards with red-zone value and a habit of high-leverage catches, including the fourth-down touchdown at Tennessee he says he saw coming. At 6-2, 200 with a senior-year runway as the projected WR1, the opportunity is finally sized to the skill set. However, a fourth-year receiver who has never cleared 450 yards in a season is asking scouts to project a role he hasn't held, and Georgia's spread-the-ball offense makes a true target-monopoly season unlikely. A 700-yard year changes the conversation entirely. Day 3, late-round projection in the 2027 class as a vertical, contested-moment complementary receiver.
