Scouting Notes

Homegrown Prior Lake product penciled in at left guard and already surfacing in 2027 summer-scouting columns — Vikings Wire wrote him up, and his decision to return for 2026 drew the kind of coverage reserved for linemen a staff genuinely fears losing. At 6-6, 325 he owns the frame for guard or center work, and Minnesota's interior linemen tend to leave school run-game ready. What the file doesn't have is proof: no recorded starting ledger here, and an offseason absence that briefly reshuffled the Gophers' line depth chart is the kind of loose thread worth pulling before trusting the glow. That gap between reputation and paper is the whole evaluation right now. However you weight the local praise, I want 13 clean starts before moving him. Late-round-track grade for the 2027 class; a full healthy season at left guard is the difference between a camp invite and a draft call.
