Downhill Mike linebacker who stepped out of a backup role and into Arkansas' signal-calling job, producing a 50-tackle, two-sack, one-forced-fumble 2025 after limited 2024 reps. Shaw triggers fast and fills with pop at 6-1, 229, and the four-star pedigree backs the ascending profile as the defense's every-down anchor. However, this is essentially one productive season on a first-year full-time starter, so the grade leans on continued growth rather than a proven body of work, and the coverage and splash-play numbers still need to develop. What you want in 2026 is a second productive year that confirms the 2025 jump was real. Ascending and dependable; the grade sits in the fringe-pro band as a plug-and-play run defender with room to climb if the production repeats.
