Scouting Verdict
Cal bought itself a proven Power-4 rotation back: Mohammed leaves Washington with 716 career rushing yards on 4.8 a carry, five touchdowns and 23 receptions, all at a sturdy 6-0, 220 build that fits how the Bears want to run it. His 2025 (106 carries, 523 yards, 4.9 average) came in a committee, and his unexplained Montlake exit ended up being Tosh Lupoi's gain — he arrives as the presumptive lead option. The receiving usage (17 catches in 2025) matters more than the raw counting stats; backs his size who catch it stay on the field. However, he has never actually carried a lead-back load — 106 attempts is his season high — and the entire draft case requires proving the efficiency holds at 200-plus touches. His high-school dominance (5,180 yards at Apollo) says the volume gene exists. Late-round track in the 2028 class, with a real 2026 audition in front of him.
