Scouting Notes

A veteran, instinctive linebacker on a rare eighth college season, and the production profile earns the look: 84 tackles and six pass breakups at Miami in 2025 to go with a 92-tackle year at Rutgers, a long Power-conference résumé built on diagnosis and range. The football intelligence is the throughline, a downhill defender who reads keys quickly, holds up in coverage and has shown pass-rush juice earlier in his career. However, the eighth-year timeline is itself the honest caveat, an older prospect whose testing age works against him no matter how clean the tape, and the projection lands at a draftable late-round-to-priority-FA range because of it. I want to see the coverage reps confirm he can carry backs and tight ends at the next level. Grade it as an experienced, high-production every-down linebacker whose instincts are NFL-grade and whose age is the ceiling-setter.
