Scouting Verdict

The body writes checks the stat sheet has not cashed yet. At 6-4 and 303 pounds with legitimate five-star movement — the No. 10 recruit in the country coming out of Chicago — Scott is the kind of interior prospect the league drafts on frame and flashes, and the national machinery has already started: PFSN calls him the No. 1 defensive tackle for 2027 and mock simulators put him inside the top 12. Be honest about what's underneath, though: there is no meaningful college production in the ledger through two seasons, so this grade is pedigree and projection, not accumulated tape. However rare the traits, an interior lineman entering year three without a disruptive stat line still has the whole case to prove, and 2026 is the proving window. Graded Day 2 on today's evidence; a season with real backfield disruption is what converts the first-round chatter into a first-round grade.
